Wardrobe
A capsule wardrobe built around your week
A capsule wardrobe is a smaller working set, not a universal list of essentials. Build it around your schedule, climate and laundry rhythm.
01
Map the situations
Estimate the share of your week spent at work, at home and outside. Include dress codes and temperature changes. Someone with a uniform needs a different capsule from someone attending client meetings; copying a checklist can create unnecessary gaps.
02
Choose repeatable combinations
Start with two bottoms and three tops you already reach for. Add a layer and two shoe options. Try each top with each bottom, then remove combinations that only work in theory. The point is reliable outfits, not maximising a mathematical count.
03
Let care set the quantity
If you wash once a week, three daily tops may not cover your routine. Include drying time and seasonal layering. Keep specialist items outside the capsule when they serve a genuine need; a raincoat does not have to match every indoor outfit.
04
Run a two-week trial
Use the selected set for two weeks and log missing functions rather than missing trends. Keep the rest of your wardrobe available while testing. Only buy after the same gap appears repeatedly; there is no need to discard good clothes to make the system look tidy.
